Basdew Rooplal Expert in the field of Mineral Processing
Basdew Rooplal is a South African expert in the fields of mining and metallurgy. He holds a degree in extraction metallurgy from the University of Johannesburg and has extensive experience in the mining industry, having worked for two of the world's largest mining companies, Anglo American and De Beers, as a process engineer from 1988 to 2003.
Rooplal has also conducted numerous workshops on various topics related to mining and metallurgy since 2004. His areas of expertise include process simulation, mineral beneficiation, crushing, screening, and conveying, metallurgical accounting and reconciliation, and tailings storage facility management.
As a workshop facilitator, he has provided training on emerging trends, best practices, and new technologies in these fields, helping organizations improve their efficiency, reduce costs, and improve their environmental and social performance.
Rooplal's experience and expertise in the mining and metallurgical industries have made him a valuable resource for professionals and organizations seeking to optimize their operations and achieve sustainable outcomes.
